Starting on February 4th, students from Fairleigh Dickinson University's Campaigns and Elections course will be using this blog to share their insights into the 2008 Presidential Election, drawing on both current events and their knowledge of past campaigns.
The class will be divided into three teams, each of which will take turns running the blog for a week at a time. If all goes as planned, there should be at least one substantive post, 5 days a week, and a total of at least 7 posts every week throughout the end of the semester in May. As the professor instructing the course, I will not be directly contributing, but will supervise and give my comments to the class bloggers when appropriate.
Pedagogical blogging is a new idea, meaning that we will, to some extent, be making up the rules as we go along, but I have high hopes for the semester. Wish us luck, and look for more in this space soon.
